Bio: I am 33 yrs old
and I live in the Dayton, OH area. I belong to the Dayton Area Mensa and
to Region 1 of Intertel. I am also in the process of joining the Triple
Nine Society. I am in graduate school part time at seminary. I work part
time as a substitute teacher. I like to play GBA video games, but I really
like to play the "L-Game" invented by DeBono. My father
and two of my friends
play it with me, but I beat them a lot. I would really, really like to
correspond with other "highly/exceptionally gifted people." I am fluent in
American Sign Language and conversational in Pidgin Sign English. I can
read ancient Greek, some
Hebrew, and I can translate classical Latin and theological German. My
BA is in Classical Latin. I like to discuss Latin, Hebrew, and Greek
biblical issues with a friend at the seminary. I can play flute, piccolo, snare
drum, cymbal(s), and various other percussion
instruments. I am
teaching myself to play the clarinet. After that, I would ! like to learn to play
the trombone. I occasionally write descants or harmonies for songs
used in the seminary chapel services. I sing in the seminary choir. I
learned how to play in a handbell choir when I was in college. I read books
all the time; sometimes 6 at once! It drives my
grandmother nuts. I
also like to yack on the phone with
my other gifted friends.
