PHILOSOPHER RANKING SCALE NORM

Write your ranking numbers for only each of the following philosophers:

____ Nietzsche

____ Emerson

____ Dickens

Now consult the IQ-Ranking chart below.  Circle the IQ that goes with the
rank you assigned the men above:

Rank Nietzsche Emerson Dickens
1 191 150 146
2 168 140 133
3 144 129 120
4 121 119 107
5 98 109 94

Now add the three scores and divide by 3.  The result is an estimated IQ for
you, plus or minus 5 IQ points for 90% probability or accuracy that your
"true" IQ falls within that IQ range.  Consult the example below.

Drew ranked Nietzsche 2, Emerson 1, and Dickens 4.  Thus he would have:  168
+ 150 + 107 = 425 divided by 3 = IQ 141.6 or simply IQ 142.  Thus his "true"
IQ probably falls between IQ 137 to 147 90% of the time on standardized tests
of human intelligence.
