PHILOSOPHER RANKING SCALE NORM
Write your ranking numbers for only each
of the following philosophers:
____ Nietzsche
____ Emerson
____ Dickens
Now consult the IQ-Ranking chart below. Circle the IQ that goes
with the
rank you assigned the men above:
| Rank |
Nietzsche
|
Emerson |
Dickens |
| 1 |
191 |
150 |
146 |
| 2 |
168 |
140 |

120 |
| 4 |
121 |
119 |
107 |
| 5 |
98 |
109 |
94 |
Now add the three scores and divide by
3. The result is an estimated IQ for
you, plus or minus 5 IQ points for 90% probability or accuracy that your
"true" IQ falls within that IQ range. Consult the
example below.
Drew ranked Nietzsche 2, Emerson 1, and Dickens 4. Thus he would
have: 168
+ 150 + 107 = 425 divided by 3 = IQ 141.6 or simply IQ 142. Thus
his "true"
IQ probably falls between IQ 137 to 147 90% of the time on standardized
tests
of human intelligence.
